About Me

Hello there!

I’m Savanna, my pronouns are she/her/hers.

I originally entered this field as a client navigating my own healing journey, working through residual effects of childhood and religious trauma. In some ways, I fell into being a therapist and it has been the most fulfilling and life-giving fit. Outside of the office, I enjoy nurturing a loving home for my two cats, whom I’m obsessed with, alongside my spectacular partner. I love fixating on new hobbies and spending time with the ones that have stuck around. I am a Pisces Sun, Hunger Games enthusiast, and lifelong lover of dancing.

My values shape how I show up in both my work and my life. I am LGBTQIA2S+ affirming, sex-positive, and committed to lifelong work of anti-racism. I believe there are limits to therapy within a capitalist system. I come from a working class background, I’m a dual citizen and I care deeply for my immigrant neighbors. I’m also in my own therapy and actively engaged in growing and learning on that side of the couch, too. I bring my personal experience as a neurodivergent (AuDHD) person into my work. My office setup includes things like free designated parking, fidgets you’re welcome to use, and sensory-friendly lighting. Making sure people feel safe, seen, and supported in this space really matters to me.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) currently located in the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina (license # C014446). I offer both in person and virtual therapy for North Carolina residents.
